Artistic Director, John Carne Wimbledon

After completing his apprenticeship with John Frieda’s Mayfair salon, Darren joined the John Carne Group in 2000 as Artistic Director for the Wimbledon salon. An expert in hair conditioning, Darren also has a flair for creative cutting and specialises in working with curly hair. Darren has been a grand finalist in the prestigious L’Oréal Colour Trophy four times, which has raised his profile in the industry and given him further opportunities to work on shoots and fashion shows for designers including Vivienne Westwood, Flight Ostel and Amy McWilliams. Darren has also done session styling and editorial work for publications including She, Elle, Harpers & Queen and Tatler magazine.
