The Ivy has gone west and set up home on the King’s Road.
Only last year, A-list restaurant started to expand with the opening The Ivy Market Grill over in Covent Garden.
A Bar lounge, Cafe and restaurant are all on offer at this new venture, with 50% of all tables reserved for walk-ins, meaning securing a table should be fairly achievable. Once seated, the menu promises British classics and inspired international dishes, such as raw yellow fin tuna carpaccio with spiced avocado, lime zest, crème fraîche and coriander shoots and chopped lobster rigatoni bake with amalfi lemon and zucchini.
The interior, all designed by Martin Brudnizki and his team, has a touch of Mediterranean faded glamour, with an elegant colour palette of olive green, burnt orange and pewter. As the name suggests, this branch of the Ivy boasts an impressive garden complete with orangery and terrace, with climbing roses and tumbling wisteria.
